Product selection
Which router suits motorhomes, caravans or camper vans?
Start with operator coverage and the required 4G or 5G bands. Then compare antenna connections, installation space, Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi client count and available DC power.
Can the same platform also be used for fixed wireless access or backup WAN?
A cellular router can serve a mobile, fixed or backup-WAN role only when its bands, antennas, ports, power input, enclosure and software functions match that installation.
What is the difference between a router, FWA CPE and gateway?
A router or FWA CPE terminates the cellular WAN. A gateway adds local routing, PoE control, aggregation or access-point management.

Requested changes to the WebUI, router software, interfaces, power input, antennas, enclosure, documents or test procedure should be listed before the sample configuration is agreed.
What information is needed before model selection?
Provide the application, country, carrier, interfaces, antennas, power input, mounting, estimated quantity and software functions.
Which service functions are available after installation?
OTA updates, remote diagnostics, logs, SIM status, traffic data, failover and watchdog recovery depend on the model and software version.
Installation
Which factors determine antenna selection and placement?
Antenna choice depends on signal conditions, mounting position, cable length, enclosure, installation method and mobile operator.
When is a separate access point used with a cellular router?
Use a separate access point when the router cannot cover the required rooms or outdoor area, or when the site needs a different Wi-Fi class, client capacity, antenna pattern or mounting position.
