5G fixed wireless broadband
A 5G CPE or router connects a fixed site to the operator network, then supplies the premises through Ethernet, Wi-Fi or both.
Cellular access at a fixed site
Use cellular as the main broadband connection or as a backup to a fixed line. Check the site checklist before choosing the CPE position and local network setup.
- Primary broadband for homes, branches and temporary sites
- Backup WAN behind an existing gateway or firewall
FWA network path
The CPE terminates the operator radio link and presents Ethernet, Wi-Fi or both. A separate gateway can take over routing and local network policy.
CPE, router and LAN equipment
The cellular device can provide the local network itself or hand the WAN connection to separate premises equipment.
